A Journey Through Tunnels of Hope

A Journey Through Tunnels of Hope

Fascination for Tunnels

Tunnels. They capture my attention. More than mere passages underground; they symbolize life as a journey. Imagine: moving forward, no turning back, no side paths, just continuous progress.

A Beacon of Hope

In the darkness of tunnels, I find hope. Amidst the oppressive walls, I carve windows to peer outside. There, farther away, lies a world full of possibilities, still out of reach but undeniably present.

Unfolding Potential

For years, I paint tunnels in vibrant colors, until 2005. With each brushstroke, they change, from oppressive corridors to expressions of boundless potential. Each stroke recalls the power of imagination. Over the years, more space and air form in tunnel connections. No longer the narrow, confined one-way street.

Embracing the Journey

In my work, no fixed pattern can be discerned. It’s a dance between darkness and light, despair and hope. My tunnels reflect life, a continuous journey with no fixed end. Yet, embracing my path is comforting. Without clinging to an expected route or outcome, there is an awareness of the path I am now on. That is a beautiful realization, a deepening of existence. The path unfolds, walls fall away, openness is my language. In deep connection with existence.
