About Lexa

The art of being human

The central themes in Lexa’s visual art are:
Connection, freedom and the experience of being human

She reflects on the search for wholeness, individuality and autonomy
The passion to realize this mature state is reflected in her work

She portrays the way of a woman along despair and pain
impatient and tormented
transformed in to an honest representation of the vulnerability of human existence

Visually represented in a distorted sketch of man
evaluated into non-concealing portraits
that reveal the honest emotional story

She explores, immerses herself
She uses expressionistic color and shape to express what takes place in the fibers of her being.
To then share this image with the public
